QUALITY CONTROL TECHNICIAN - QCQA Laboratories, Inc.
A Capital district independent testing laboratory of asphalt, concrete and soils is seeking a highly motivated individual to join their Quality Control Team.  The candidate will be required to learn all phases of the Quality Control department and must have the ability to work as a part of a team and individually with minimum supervision.  Minimum qualifications include strong mathematics background and knowledge of Windows.  Individuals possessing NYS Asphalt Pavement Association Quality Control/Quality Assurance Technician Certification or A.C.I. Certification is preferred, however, others are encouraged to apply.  The Quality Control Manager will train the right individual to receive these certifications.  We offer a competitive salary comparable to experience.  Full-time and part-time positions available. STEEL TECHNOLOGIST - QCQA Laboratories, Inc.
A Capital district independent testing laboratory of asphalt, concrete and soils is seeking a highly motivated individual to join their Quality Control Team. The successful candidate will oversee physical testing of steel structures, assigns work for steel construction quality control technicians, performs tests to ensure proper fit-up and erection of steel structures, and monitor and document erection and welding operations as directed. Will prepare reports for completed tests. Ensures compliance with the quality system in these areas. We offer a competitive salary comensurate with experience. Full time position. EOE.
SCIENTIST/ENGINEER - TransTech Systems, Inc.
TRANSTECH SYSTEMS INC. is a rapidly growing company that applies cutting edge technology in impedance spectroscopy and tomographic for sensors in the civil construction market. We are looking for electrical engineers, physicists, geophysicists or biomedical engineers to continue to expand the technical base for new product growth in our current market as well as new markets. The successful candidate will have experience in developing, proposing and managing technical research programs. Experience in proposing and managing government research programs is a plus. The position is located in Schenectady, New York. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
